I remember listening to Cornette talk about JBL awhile back ago, and he said JBL called him "Mr. Cornette" for a long time because Cornette had JBL booked in Smoky Mountain before they went out of business. I'm sure Cornette may have had some influence in the WWF signing him in the first place, so not surprised Corny never had any problems with him.

Granted I think he made some fair points about how the specific comment JBL said didnt see him like a big deal and that Justin Roberts seems low-key petty (i.e. him wanting credit for Connor) but at the same time he was bugging about accepting a high school mentality in the locker room and testing outsiders

There is no defending it really..there are multiple stories of Holly and Bradshaw acting up. I'm surprised no one pulled a gun on him yet.

This whole thing has been blown out of proportion. JBL is an a$$hole who would be fired in any other profession but this situation with mauro is not as bad as people are making it out to be

Think so. I always think of the Cornette/Lesnar story where he had to threaten him with a gun...why fight a bully that could paralyze you but you still a GROWN MAN..you can't be letting that $hit slide.
