That Pelle Pelle Soda Club era from 89 to like 92 was 
Ain't gonna front, I was just a lil too young during that time frame to cop one (I didn't hit the streets just yet). Funny story, the first time I saw a Pelle Pelle Soda Club in person was back in 89 downtown Newark on Broad and Market. Back then, Broad and Market was like equivalent to 125th street in Harlem. I was in like the 7th grade, on my way to catch the bus home from school. There I spotted one of the flyest dudes in the city (may he rest in peace) with a cherry red and yellow Pelle on holding hands with a then young Faith Evans. It was at that moment when I said to myself that I need to get to some money! lol
