it's obvious Jim is all in his feelings cause Al Haymon is prepared to take his stable of fighters over to NBC which HBO sees as a threatning move to their business model.....which is illogical considering that they (HBO) have a great relationship with not only Arum, but Golden Boy and the Duva camp as well......

I love the Entertainment value of boxing as well....im one of the few on this board that can say they have actually attended a Championship Fight and been in the presence of a Michael Buffer, Tommy Hearns, Roy Jones and countless others.......

I was into boxing LOOOONG BEFORE I even heard my first hip hop record, when my daddy would have the TV blasting on ABC watching bouts of his favorite Larry Holmes

so I know the BOXING GAME well...not just from a FAN PERSPECTIVE but from a more "EXCLUSIVE" standpoint as well...

and UNFORTUNATLY due to my relationship with a former Professional Boxer from New York , I got to WITNESS FIRST HAND THE "NASTY SIDE" of the GAME

sure their are plenty of cats on here, that are passionate about skill sets, catch weights, great matchups, KO records, yeah yeah yeah...I get that

just like IN HIP HOP, you got guys that are fasincated with multis...double entredes, punchlines and themes.....

but I AM HERE TO TALK ABOUT THE BUSINESS.....THAT'S WHAT I DO....if someone got a problem with that then simply DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO MY THREADS

Al Haymon is NOT the Dana White of the boxing world....you guys made AL HAYMON THE ILLUMINATI SCAPEGOAT OF THE BOXING GAME

while ignoring the CRIMINAL DEEDS of not only the bob arums and lou duvas but the WBC as well....

and let's not forget HBO which has lobbied hard agaginst legistation that would force it to be licensed as a PROMOTER, which HBO is avoiding cause they don't want the to be held responsible for the liablility of the fighers as well as dealing with promoter fees in the various states and countries it broadcast fights in.

that's a serious conflict of intrest my friend...........

so once again AL HAYMON has no desire to become the GOD PROMOTER(DANA WHITE) OF BOXING...


and has no desire to be , he has always been willing to come to terms to create matches

AS LONG AS THE TERMS ARE FAVORABLE AND FAIR ......and why shouldn't they be??....as an advisor/manager his job is to have his clients best intrests

one thing is people love to bring up is the days of the "GOLDEN ERA" of boxing....you know the haglers, hearns, leonards, chavez's , Tysons and such...

all these GREAT FIGHTS, were done at the EXPENSE of these fighters who TOOK LITTLE reward at the end of the day....

the frequency of these matches and lengths of the fights left these fighters in miserable shape once they stopped fighting

so much wear and tear

here you have fighters like Mayweather and Broner who are not only building their brand, but have their OWN PROMOTIONAL COMPANIES!!!

you can't name one promoter who has EMPOWERED his fighers like AL HAYMON has......

Pay Per View revenue sharing was something and still is something the Don Kings and Bob Arums refuse to even discuss with fighters

yet Al has made this available to all his fighters

and you wonder why virtually every fighter in the game wants to wave the "al haymon" flag

keep in mind Kellerman did that shyt the same year Mayweather fulfilled his obligations to HBO and him and Haymon told them to go fukk themselves

as well at the same time that HBO was catching feelings cause HBO's other "favored son" former HBO exec Lou Dibella now boxing promoter "LOST" Andre Berto to the Hayman/Golden Boy camp whom they were hoping to capitalize on having Berto fight Ortiz for a rematch that never took place because Berto tested positive for PED's.

I like both too, but as of this year 2014, HBO won.

Showtime had good fights by accident really.

Broner/Taylor, Superman/Fonfara, Mattysse/Molina for example were all good fights that were more competitive than they were on paper. Meanwhile we got shyt like Donaire/Walters and Groves/Froch 2 happening on HBO. Quality fights on paper and in the ring.
