They can create another Grantland, but I'm saying that won't hurt Grantland. I've seen plenty of blog sites that started off great, got popular, declined in quality, yet still remained popular. Grantland will be fine.

If Simmons is right that Grantland wasn't making profits even when he was there, that site has no chance with him gone.
For everything dope Grantland has done, ESPN gave them next to zero promotion if Simmons wasn't involved, and even then it was minimal.
I didn't think the site would last much longer, but if they're jumping off the ship already this site might be bushes status before we hit 2016.
