Picked the right cards nearly every time and cashed them in. Can't hate on the man. He's clearly slipping now (dude literally signed Chief Keef due to his son telling him he was hot) but at his height he couldn't miss.

Sosa wasnt a bad pick tbh. Should of just given him more time to develop. Let him do the mixtape underground game in his teens, then start cranking out albums in his 20s.

Chief Keef nowadays is more mature than when he was 16, he would of played ball with the label.

Truly a great businessman that doesn't come around too often. A great businessman is one that can quickly adapt to change and do a good job of execution
In the early 90's the Music business was shifting. Iovine (a Rock guy) didn't know shyt about HipHop, but knew Death Row was something special, and took a chance.
In the 2000's he ventured off into the Electronics business (Beats) as Consumer Electronics business was at an all time high, and sold it off as the tide was turning, and a downtrend was expected
Now he's working for / with Apple the most valuable company in the world, because he accurately sees that the Tech Business is where it's at these days.

i can never respect him due to dropping TUPAC , which then made him sign to deathrow, which then made him die. :pacspit:
He technically didn't drop Tupac, he just saw that pac would fit in better over at Death Row (since Death Row was a full-blown hip-hop label.) I can't say I wouldn't have done the same :yeshrug:
The same way he aligned GAME with G-Unit. Game was already an Interscope artist
But I see what you mean.
