because Dre cant do shyt while Jimmy has DEEP connects in the industry and can manipulate the prices Apple would have to pay out to artists/labels with their streaming services. Jimmy would be an asset and prolly would never have to step 1 foot in Cupertino in order to get shyt done. Its a power move on Tim Cook's part, something I could not see Steve doing

I do not think so because Dr. Dre is attached to building giants and he isn't involved in a million business like his counterparts of hip-hop. He gives off the impression that he is proficient in sound.

They better have built in Beats by Dre speakers on the new MacBook Pro and not make us wait til next time around, I would organize an official hold-out petition . . "I will not buy the new version of the MacBook Pro if it doesn't feature Beats by Dre"

Universal (Interscope-Geffen-A&M & Island Def Jam) has a huge catalog which is a resource thus Apple cozying with a monopoly on licenses of masters once other streaming services' contracts expire. If you need your fix of Tupac, No Doubt, Eminem, Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, etc, you'll have to fukk with Apple. This is blatant backroom collusion and UEONO it. Music industry already doesn't like Pandora because it refuses to pay artists more from streams and from what I read Beats Music over a better streaming experience then boom! Raining money. They won't completely destroy Spotify because Antitrust laws say they'll need a competitor.

That's not true but it would be best case scenario for Apple.

With Spotify, that's a Swedish company . . Max Martin ($100 million dollar producer of Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Nsync, etc.) should just buy a share of it and wait for Google to come around
