They used some fancy fingerprint scanner that kept track of your time. I guess they had some issue with people fukking around with their timecards or some shyt.

While we are on the topic... If any parents are lurking... programs like Identakid and shyt like that where they try and get your permission to fingerprint your kid... you are really fukking your kid over big time, putting them further into the system.
