The last Jodeci album wasn't even Jodeci

Devante only produced like 2/3 tracks, they just through his name on the credits. I knew that album wasn't Devante approval once I heard the opening track

devante seems like the type of artist who woun't open the vaults unless you talkin' big money
but i'm willin' to bet he got thousands and thousands of songs, ideas, half baked ideas and concepts on paper

puff didn't produce them outside of the "come and talk to me remix"
al b sure helped devante out in the beginnin' with some writin' and producin' with the forever my lady album. not a lot but he helped them polish their sound
they had a fallin' out with andre harrell, puffy and uptown because the thought they won't gettin' paid enough so they linked up with suge on some management type shyt
they started doin' some business with suge but they were still signed to uptown/mca records though
once they started fukkin' with suge, the line was kinda drawn between them and puffy in a way but then again, jodeci's run was just about over in 95' because in 96' it was over
when i say over, i don't mean they that just fell off but they just stopped puttin out music and k-ci and jojo did their thing while devante and dalvin did a lot of work behind the scenes

It all makes sense now. I just knew diddy had them on uptown with mary J and that whole relationship with her and KC
Now that I think of it I don't remember them ever being on bad boy when diddy left
