Biden being one of the 'poorest' members of Congress was a good thing actually. He literally was living off his U.S. Senate salary for 36 years. And then his Vice President salary.

He didn't even start making money until 2017.
He stuck around entirely too long. But wanted to be President so bad. If Obama didn't screw him over he might've beat Trump in 2016.

Obama cashed in big time along with Bill Clinton.

I mean he was an unpopular President and his mark on history unfortunately will be the guy who ushered in Trump 2.0, while not all of it was his fault, its just the way the people will look at it. Like I said when he won in 2020-2021, he should have committed to being a one-term President, and the Democratic Party would have had the time to vet and groom a successor properly and he has a net worth of several million dollars he is far from poor.
