Joe Biden selects Senator Kamala Harris as his VP Pick

I already said that some people in Biden world hold a grudge against Kamala because of that.

Anyways, Biden himself doesn't or else she wouldn't even be in consideration. Also, Kamala & Jill did a fundraiser together in June. I think that Jill may have some hesitation about Kamala but she doesn't hold the debates against her. I hear that it's Biden's sister, Valerie, that doesn't like Kamala the most.

At the end of the day, Joe is the one who makes the final decision. His choice is not going to please everyone and there is no "slam dunk" VP pick. I personally think that he should choose Kamala, she's not a "slam dunk" but she's the best choice.

The flip side is that Rice could focus on foreign policy while Biden focuses more on domestic. Also Rice is pretty damn smart. It’s not like she would be anymore out of her depth on Covid than Harris.

Biden is already pretty good at foreign policy if anything he would need someone who can help with domestic policy.

Biden is already pretty good at foreign policy if anything he would need someone who can help with domestic policy.

Yeah, Susan Rice should be Secretary of State not VP.

Also, the last 7 Democratic vice presidents were U.S. Senators preceding their ascension to the Vice Presidecy (including Biden himself). It would be unprecedented for Biden to pick a non-Senator to be his VP.

I’m not disagreeing with you, but people who think like that are already voting for Trump. All of this over thinking is unnecessary. He could have been picked between Harris and Warren and been done with it.
