Gabriel was always getting a shot after Flacco, and there's no reason to go back to him after benching.

The "good" news is it's unlikely Gabriel lasts rest of season so I do see Sanders getting a shot. They're going to need to evaluate everyone as they'll be in position to take a first round QB next year.

A lot of the local media (including the ones that I actually respect) are stating that Shadeur is still having issues with grasping some of the concepts of the offense so that is the reason he's still the 3rd QB. I don't have high expectations for Gabriel but I see why Kevin wanted him because he's a quick decision maker. The offense needs a spark badly and hopefully this helps it for the time being.

I agree it is Flacco's fault for playing poorly. I'm just saying keep the same energy if Sanders plays bad. Don't start blaming the team in order to make excuses for Sanders. I say that more for folks like Shannon Sharpe and other media members who are personal friends with Deion therefore can't be critical of Shedeur.

The Browns only scored 20 or more points 3 times last year and they haven’t done it one time this year so evidently NOBODY on the team has “grasped” the concepts. Maybe the offense is trash.
