The Browns only scored 20 or more points 3 times last year and they haven’t done it one time this year so evidently NOBODY on the team has “grasped” the concepts. Maybe the offense is trash.
It is. And Shedeur ain't changing nothing about it.
Which is why he should've never turned down the Ravens. Organizational stability matters.
The ravens offense is tailor made for Jackson. The browns might fire the GM and coach before his rookie deal is up. How many backup qbs have the ravens had since Jackson has been there? There’s nothing stable about being a backup quarterback unless you go to the right team. The ravens wasn’t the right team.
A lot of the local media (including the ones that I actually respect) are stating that Shadeur is still having issues with grasping some of the concepts of the offense so that is the reason he's still the 3rd QB. I don't have high expectations for Gabriel but I see why Kevin wanted him because he's a quick decision maker. The offense needs a spark badly and hopefully this helps it for the time being.

And look lamar got injured last game, could have been shadeur coming into play instead it was cooper rushTyler Huntley was a Pro Bowler just 3 years ago in Baltimore. If the Ravens were interested, that means they thought Shedeur was an apt fit. Unlike the Browns who took Sanders as an afterthought and only after the demand of their owner.
Whatever the under is in the Sunday London game, take it. Two elite defenses vs two trash QBsthat vikings d is gonna destroy dillon
This how you do it. The media keeps hanging on to every word he says. Don’t say nothing. How is he not grasping concepts if he supposedly not getting any reps. Is it oochie Wally or one mic
The offense has plenty of problems besides Joe. The interior OL is old while the current starting tackles are ass because of injuries. Flacco didn't help the process by being immobile while going thru his progressions slower than he was back in 23. It makes sense to put Gabriel as the started and Joe two because Dillion needs all the reps with the starters and since Joe is a vet, he doesn't need the reps anymore, just help Dillion with the game plan and answer any questions that he have. Shadeur will still be the scout team QB going against the starting D while working on his pocket awareness and any other issues he has besides knowing the offensive playbook because his current job is to prepare the defense for game day.The Browns only scored 20 or more points 3 times last year and they haven’t done it one time this year so evidently NOBODY on the team has “grasped” the concepts. Stefanski's offense has a lot of play action and boots that he can't do with Joe because he's old. Now those plays are back in action because he has a younger and more mobile QB starting. They need a QB who can do some of those to open up the field for the WRs to make plays. Putting Sanders in there now to go against Flores and Tomlin next week would have a more negative impact on him if sh1t goes wrong than Garbiel since he's not popular with the media and fans. If you really look at it, this is protecting #12 from looking bad against some of the best defensive coaches because there is no pressure on Dillion to be successful right away. If he fails, so what because he was a 3rd round pick anyway.
Could be but we also have to accept that Dillon was drafted before Shadeur so he's going to get next first. Doesn't mean that he's better or the future but the coaches valued what he had to offer at the moment more that what #12 can bring them. Doesn't mean that can changed over time within a few weeks, months or a year from now.
