Joe Harris could soon become the starting shooting guard for the Cavaliers, according to a source with knowledge of the team's thinking.

Harris has emerged as a rotation player for the Cavs, and is averaging 7.6 points and 2.0 three-pointers over 20 minutes of action through the Cavs' past three games. It seems that Dion Waiters’ move to the bench will be permanent, and Shawn Marion as the starting shooting guard will be a short-term move. Harris is trending up, but owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach with the second-round draft pick, while owners in very deep leagues can make a speculative add if roster space is available.

Didn't they have the best Backcourt in the league? Dion Waiters should've stayed quiet.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
A lot of players fade on their jumpers off the bounce to create space. If he were fading on spot ups, then that would be a different story.

This guy is destined for greatness. No one works harder than this guy. He is the most skilled SG since Kobe. I know ya'll like, what about Wade and Harden? Waiters got a better jumperbthan Wade and has more polish than Harden.

Is Waiters a possible HOF?

As a UVA fan im ecstatic if Joe gets to be the starter. He could have easily been a first round pick and while this may seem like a setback maybe Waiters will take this upon himself and improve his game. Talent wise he should be the starter but he doesnt bring the intangibles to the game that you are looking for. Especially when he's got to take a backseat to three more players on his team. Joe Harris may be the perfect fit though. All he's got to do is defend and hit jumpers. And i know from four years of watching him that he can hit jumpers.
