The former San Francisco 49ers great seemed to laugh and shrug at the whole controversy involving the Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady in an interview with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Mark Kaboly (h/t to Larry Brown Sports). True story. In Barry Sanders rookie year there was a game that he was killing one team. They could not tackle him. So they went to the ref and asked if he could check Barry's jersey for silicon. The ref checked and there was no silicon on his jersey.
