"Joe Rogan slammed critics of Country singer Jason Aldean's controversial song 'Try That in a Small Town,' claiming 'there are hundreds of rap songs that are infinitely worse'.

On Wednesday's episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the comedian sat down with author Gad Saad and discussed the outrage surrounding the song released by Aldean, 46, earlier this month.

'The level of outrage, now I'm not saying that that's the greatest song in the world's ever known, you know,' Rogan said.

'But
the level of outrage coming from people that are upset about that song is so strange when there are hundreds of rap songs out there that are infinitely worse and also enjoyable,' he added.

The song, which was released in May, has surged to the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with over 19 million views on YouTube. It has since faced criticism over the lyrical content and for interlacing clips of a BLM protests."

"'So like, the racial aspect of it, there's nothing racial about the lyrics.' " :mjpls:

Joe maga rogan at it again.

At face value, it seems like a shytty generic “get off my lawn” white shyt.

But the video shows that its more about blm and George floyd backlash.

I dont and wont listen to duke podcast. But anyone who uses hiphop to both side this shyt is an idiot.

Ive actually never listened to the song because I didnt want to give it a view. But I just read the lyrics, and they dont seem racist on there own. But im pretty sure I saw he had a history of saying other racist things, just like Rogan:mjlol:

So having a certain history, changes the context of lyrics. Joe Budden threatens you on a song its no big deal. If Lil Durk threatens you on a record you might add to your security. To ignore that the person saying the lyrics, changes how lyrics are percieved is nonsense.

But full disclaimer,I have no idea if he has a history of racism. But I think I remember seeing people say he did.
