i guess since there's a series around re-dos, but the original is a perfect song, this aint no where near it

As all that will come of this. Is someone simply like. Duke is no Mos Def.
When people of this age do not even know who Mos Def is.
Should have chose beastie Boyz, sumfin's got to give and gave it some pocketed soul. Would have been similar to umi says and so obscure to anyone. Yet has the cultural artistry. Where it would be commended for doing a cover. With umi says,.....it just pigeon holes Joey back in the same space he will never draw from out of. Even as an accomplished classically trained actor.
Or whatever art school this cat went to. Or whatever art school vibe this guy gives off.

In a Leroy and classically trained art schools like fame is still banned in hiphop.

Wrong song choice because it brings up to much of a comparison.
to a dark horse God tier talent of his era and God tier song choice.
Where no wiggle room will be given. Considering the artist being covered and the artist covering the record.
Plus it shows no actual crate digging worth a damn. To prop Joey because of course an artist like this would know the top cultural record of an entire Era.
He would have been better served to try traveling man,.....
Picking umi says is a typically cliche and to close to the biter playbook of Joey badass. To give this any props.
