Both stated that in hopes of being able to launch their careers as animators early they got to know John Kricfulusi. Kricfulusi began to accost Robyn Byrd at the age of 13. Kricfulusi's lawyer even in a statement to BuzzFeed acknowledges that Kricfulusi once did have a girlfriend that was 16. Byrd states in the Buzzfeed article that Kricfalusi began to send flirtatious letters to her at the age of 14.
Many industry insiders were aware of the inappropriate relationship between Kricfalusi and Byrd. Due to the immense success and power, Kricfalusi accumulated many people chose to remain silent. I saw many fanboys cry about their childhood being ruined. Think about that, your childhood being ruined because the creator of one your favorite cartoons is a pervert. How about the women childhood's being ruined because they were raped? Priorities people. Integrity, let's find some. To be honest after reading the article about Robyn Byrd and Katie Rice experience I felt like throwing up. Why?
