Something fishy going on
No, the investment community has trends like anything else.

Nowadays after central banks all over have been printing money for a decade, they are stacked with cash and not enough assets to invest in - especially not fixed income.

So naturally they've been looking further into other things, so called alternative investments, which includes stuff you'd expect like real estate, distressed securities, crypto etc. But also stuff like music, movie production, paintings and on.

People saying "music isn't attractive anymore" :snoop:
Why would the most elite investors in the world buy into it if it wasn't :dahell:

Cashing out is always a good option but they’re giving up ownership and the chance for generational income.

There’s power in ownership. There’s a reason families like Kennedy, Welch, Walton, Kraft, Heinz, etc go on forever. If they sold off their businesses to the highest bidder they wouldn’t be up billions.

Got it.
You know what I’m about to ask :lolbron:
If you don’t mind, I’d appreciate knowing what kind of numbers Mobb Deep does :salute:

NP, based on Spotify numbers, they are at about 80k-100k a day in streams on that platform...they only peaked @ 4 Mil on Spotify once Prodigy died. A little under a milly streams on all platforms.

I'm sure he got the numbers he wanted. Someone, I think on Drink Champs, said that these deals are not in perpetuity. They last like 10 years or something like that. The devil is in the details.

There are a lot of people pocket watching. These situations can't be based on the average world citizen working a day to day trying to keep their head above water. Living from check to check. We don't know all the details so all we can do is speculate. One thing is for sure, if this move works for the individual and their family (whoever it may be,) More power to them. I'm sure he' won't starve today, tomorrow, 20-30 or even 40 years from now, and if he's well versed in business he will give his kids something more valuable than money, the education on how to make money.
