Then why was the bench so damn productive when wall was out? This is a narrative that John is putting out there but it falls on him, he's the point guard who gets the offense going. If he's the leader then there is no individual play as he said because he dictates 70% of what happens when he's on the floor. He gotta get better...

they have Wall/Beal/Porter and a bunch of hodge podge pieces I like Oubre but after that the team is dudes on bad contracts or players on the downside of their career....They are a move for a good interior presence away from making real noise.

I think the majority of the universe would agree with that statement. The bench isn't as bad you say it is either imo, and you left out Morris and his amazing contract (thanks Ernie) but with all thisin place you still hear this...

Boston was and still is an unknown, Cleveland was a defeated team after last season and now they are an older team than before. They an injury away from not going anywhere this post season. The wizards are clearly underachieving going 9-10 vs teams with losing records. If that was 16-3 instead everyone would be talking about how they looking like a 1/2 seed right now, and why? Because they beat a bunch of under 500 teams
