John Wall's jumper looked better as a rookie than it does now

how does he go from that to where he is now. i remember he dropped 28 and 9 on the road in ATL in the second game of his career (including two late threes) that almost got us over the line. He followed up the next night in his DC debut with 29 and 13 and 9 steals in a win over Philly. A week later when he notched a triple double (19-13-10) and 6 steals in a win over Houston.

smh..

It did.I'm not even gonna front on Wall anymore. He is what he is. I hope he takes this offseason seriously and doesnt have any injures cause the jury on him for me will be out end of next season. After that Portland game few weeks ago, I thought differently of him for the first time. He can become elite, but it's up to him.

Yeah I've given up on him ever adding a jumper/3 ball him and Rondo have there Niche I just need him to cut turnovers down and continue to improve on D and get the ball to shooters.

He will never reach his potential until he gets at least a respectable jumper. He still has a high ceiling because its obvious that his presence alone makes the Wizards a better team. He still has plenty of moments where you say that is a future All Nba type player right there. But that lack of a jumper holds him back, because teams can just play him for the drive. Without a J i think he will always be a 15 and 10 type player. But he could be an easy 20 point a game scorer with a decent J. Because he can get to the rack at will and would draw plenty of fouls.

Yeah.

Its ironic because Wall was billed as the "next D.Rose but better" and in his first game against him, Rose stepped on Walls foot and broke it. Since then Wall hasnt been the same player.

Dude will never improve his J. Loves the club scene too much, saw him and Ariza a few days ago at the club in Toronto.
