how does he go from that to where he is now. i remember he dropped 28 and 9 on the road in ATL in the second game of his career (including two late threes) that almost got us over the line. He followed up the next night in his DC debut with 29 and 13 and 9 steals in a win over Philly. A week later when he notched a triple double (19-13-10) and 6 steals in a win over Houston.
smh..

just waitat least we aint miss on beal, he already looks more of a star than wall

why would you copy the the article?the coaching just reinforces what he can't do... like don't shoot threes for example
but I blame John a lot more because great players can dwarf coaching. We don't hear stories of John opening Verizon at 4 AM to put in work like Gilbert used to do. We hear John works hard... and he had a shooting coach, but his form is the same. I think he isn't internalizing the teachings and he isn't as diligent even if he puts in the hours
Broom on the Warpath - Time to Worry about John Wall
why would you copy the the article?
but yeah, im concerned. The turnovers and the bad shooting has really annoyed me. Next season is make or break with him.
hundreds? breh, he needs to hit 1,000 jumpers a day. Not take, MAKE 1,000 jumpers a day. It has to become muscle memory and making it has to be positive reinforcement. Its the only way.John Wall can still be a great basketball player, he's only 22 years old but he HAS to practice and work on his jump shot, period. He needs to develop a consistent form (his form is TERRIBLE right now) and put up hundreds of shots daily. But that takes countless hours in the gym and to me it seems like John just lacks the motivation and work ethic to become a great basketball player. Your shot only gets worse if you don't care about making it better and that's obvious with John at this point. There's really no excuse to be a professional basketball player and your shot gets WORSE.
Yeah, it doesnt seem like he cares.it summarized what i've been thinking since the beginning of last season
like a fear you didn't want to become reality
i for sure thought his J would improve from his rookie year. just a couple mechanical changes and a million shots.
Yeah.
Its ironic because Wall was billed as the "next D.Rose but better" and in his first game against him, Rose stepped on Walls foot and broke it. Since then Wall hasnt been the same player.
