Every man understands what John Wall was going through with Taylor Rooks.
In his first appearance on NBA on Prime as a player contributor, Wall made headlines in a hilarious way. At one point during his debut, Rooks got him to do the Dougie. This was the same dance he famously did as a rookie in the NBA.
Wall has transitioned well from his playing career to an NBA analyst during retirement. He made his studio debut with the Amazon Prime Video team, and social media had a lot to say about one interaction.
At one point behind the desk, Wall couldn’t keep his eyes off Taylor Rooks. She wasn’t even speaking at the time. You could see Wall look to his peripheral vision several times at Rooks. She seemingly did not notice it.
Wall officially announced his retirement from basketball in August 2025 after an 11-year career. The five-time All-Star point guard finished his career averaging 18.7 points and 8.9 assists per game.
