When I saw the trailer I thought this was going to be retarded, but my sister wanted to go see it and it turned out to be surprisingly good.

Ehh, it’s not as good, or as funny, as I thought it would be. Disappointed since I enjoyed the trailer, and it looked like it would be great. Pretty solid movie, but nothing I’d watch again.

Rockwell’s character was the funniest in this. ScarJo was good, and always sexy AF.

edit: might rewatch it again some day. I’ll probably think better of it on second viewing.

Watched this weekend. 8/10 had some very funny bits with Taika as Hitler and dude's fat friend Yori? I believe was off the hook. Almost everything he said was funny. Scar Jo was great in this to what a beautiful woman.
My only complaint is some of the satire didn't completely land. It got weird at a couple of points where I didn't understand what they were getting at.
But overall quality and another good movie under Taika's belt. He's a funny guy with a great sensibility.

I think the name and tackling the holocaust will put people off.

It's a great blend of jokes with a strong message underneath it all. What I think is relevant nowadays is seeing the stupid beliefs of the Nazi's and the idiocy of creating a battalion of kids, but also, how a lot of this stupidity is being rehashed with the QAnon/Antivax crowd
