Trevor is alright. He's your run of the mill late show host.
Jon Stewart on the other hand is a beast who has a better grasp of whats wrong with our media and political system than almost anybody.
I have watched him school so-called experts in their field. Whether it's O'reily and Rachel Maddow on the media or David Axelrod on governance.
I came here to say the same thing. The guy who took over Colbert's show is trash also
Trevor doesn't have nearly the level of intelligence, or cultural familiarity...or frankly comedic intent to thrive in that role.
Give Trevor time. No one here was watching Jon Stewart in his early years. You build up to perfection.
