rmer Dallas Cowboys running back
Joseph Randle was arrested early Sunday morning for failure to appear.
Annette Lawless of KAKE.com reported the news, noting that Randle is being held on $150,000 bond. This is Randle's sixth arrest since October 2014.
The 24-year-old was just released on bond Tuesday after being arrested on Feb. 21 for aggravated battery. He is accused of trying to run over three people with a vehicle and attempting to force his way into the home of his victims.
TMZ Sports reported that no one involved suffered major injuries.
Randle's career was on the upswing before his behavior became a concern. He was slated to be the Cowboys' starting running back in 2015 and was their primary ball-carrier for the first six games of the season before being replaced by
Darren McFadden.
Dallas released him in November, just a week before he was given a
four-game suspension for violating the
NFL's personal conduct policy.
"I'm always concerned as to any issues regarding the [mental] health of a player," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after the team released Randle, per
Todd Archer of ESPN.com. "It's a lot more serious than the football [injury]."
