Flair was being his usual self, JR was actually being cool and not an uptight dikkhead so I guess vince was pissed off because he used this as a reason to not renew his contract.

For some reason, Vince always hated him and treated him like shyt. He fired him allegedly because of something that wasn't even his fault (Ric Flair getting drunk and making an ass out of himself at a public event).
