I don't see why we couldn't. Josh is an All Star talent who if coached & used properly could be a key player on a championship caliber team. You'll never win a title with Josh as your best player, but you got a chance if he's your #3 guy...possibly #2

You don't have a chance of winning a ring with Smith as your first or 2nd best player on the team. Smith would be a solid 3rd option on a team full of veterans.

People on here are acting like Smith can get them an top player at their position for Smith. Smith's value is not high like some people on here would like to believe.

Why Would The Hawks Want Pau? Unless Jerry West Is The GM For The Hawks I Dont See Why They Would Do That

Pau is still a useful player.....his skill set would mesh well with Al Horford down low. He's a smarter player than Josh. I'd make it happen.

I've always rooted for Josh to grow up on the court but it ain't gonna happen. I've been tired of his 3 point jacking, not giving the pg the ball on fast breaks, and complaining while the rest of the team went to play d. If im tired of this I know GMs around the league done seen this shyt. Josh is 27. This is who he is. We aint getting any equal value back if we trade him. So much talent though. I dont think he has ever had a real coach that he respected and listened to.

Like I said earlier about Smith's trade value that Atlanta was not going to get anything good in return for Smith. Really? That's the best Atlanta could come up with at the trading deadline.
