These state of the culture albums was cool fifteen years ago with albums like DTF acting as a platform and vehicle for newer artists but DONDA could have been much better without all those features.
Like Yachty verse was cool, but after Rooga did what he did, he should have cut yachty off. Things like that held DONDA back and it was still a great album conceptually and otherwise.
Nikkas thirsty to get they verses on there and then crying when it got cut was corny. Lil Durk, Chris Brown, Styles P, and Soulja Boy all had the most corny things to say because a next man ain’t roll out his album the way they wanted. This sharing style got nikkas feeling entitled.
Same with For All The Dogs. Maybe it will grow on me but all 21 and that touchdown dude did was bring down the potential of songs. Specifically calling for you with the cringe skit and mid 21 verse.
