ALC been switching it up this year with the Larry June/2 Chainz joint, the Mos project that we'll never hear, and the Badu one - probably has more planned for later this year

I'll take his routine over JPEG's noisy messy shyt any day

Lol already forgot about this

Peggy that dude, but the man is just as guilty:

  1. Ya think ya know me followed by a fire track out of the rambling garbage on the sp404
  2. Raps about the "fame", my bytch on his jock, OMG they turned their back on me :(
  3. A gazillion samples with no sort of guidance
  4. Albums are about nothing
Dude just a bitter SoundCloud beat maker in the body of a producer that got lucky from capitalizing from the grind.

Erykah Badu album coming this year :manny: that’s certainly a big change. He just did an album with 2Chainz

Dude’s already changed his style a couple of times. If he’s not 50 yet, he’s close. Hes been hella active since 1998. Not sure how many more style switches or huge evolutions that he’s gonna realistically do going forward. He’s got a lot of fans and peers that appreciate what he’s doing now.

Alc to me is the GOAT hip hop producer and you nailed it. Dude has been active for almost 30 years. How many producers that debuted in the 90s are still ACTIVELY releasing projects? Almost nobody. It’s unfathomable what he’s doing at this level and at this level of quality. He’s already switched his style up - he has projects with Larry June and Curren$y and none of those records sounds like the joints he got with Roc or Earl or Freddie. Just naming those names, how many producers can even make projects for that many rappers and still keep a distinct sound but tweak it for the artist? Most cant

So JPEG is wrong and he need to focus on his own weak ass experimental raps. I haven’t heard anything that impressive from him for him to be talking about nikkas that shyt on his whole career and his beats are fukking ass. Video game ass production

Breh I'm saying :why: . Alc got his stripes because his signature meshes well with rappers like Larry and em. The monotone laid back bytch getting steez over laid back obscure samples.

Meanwhile Peggy is stuck in a weird time paradox of SoundCloud cloud raps. Like I dig it and all, but that's like me saying I'm the GOAT, when my marsupial ass still trying to get the claw in the door.

Peggy needs to humble himself and try to find himself through his meh ass albums. Maybe upgrade to the Akai jawns.

Earl has made substantially different albums over his career - he’s changed sounds several times.

Sly Tendencies to Earl to Doris to IDLSIDGO to SRS to Feet of Clay to Sick! to Voir Dire.

The only two that even sound alike are SRS, Feet of Clay and Sick! - even then you have cuts like Tabula Rasa w Armand Hammer and Lye that are out of this world.

Album ain't selling huh? :francis:

His last album was the rap album equivalent of a bi polar manic depressive Coli breh that shyt posts and tries to get negs. Only to have one Rep worthy post. Outside of the Denzel Curry track, the album itself was sauted asscrack. Man's heard a guitar riff and went :krs: "whole album with nothing but it".

He is my favorite artist in the last 5+ years but why would you need to even say this? Did either of them diss him or something? Regardless if they are not fukking with you leave them alone and make music.
