A lot of pros could give a fukk about winning. Most players are in this to get paid above all else. There's plenty of guys that would rather be the man on a shytty team than a bench player on a "contender" or having to play in a shytty area.
The real psychos like Kobe are few and far between. You got plenty of guys that are competitive but at the end of the day, I'd venture to say the ones that care about just winning are the guys that made their money and now have nothing else to earn other than titles.
If I was in their position, I'd wanna win, but how the hell could you honestly give a fukk if you're making tens of millions of dollars basically playing a game and working out for a living? It's a fukking fantasy.
JR loved NYC, and with an ungodly amount of money, I'm sure NYC is an amazing place to live. Can't blame him for being depressed about losing what he had there.
