From the opening monologue :wow:

"Yeah, this album is dedicated to all the teachers that told me
I'd never amount to nothin', to all the people that lived above the
buildings that I was hustlin' in front of that called the police on
me when I was just tryin' to make some money to feed my daughter,
and all the nikkas in the struggle, you know what I'm sayin'?"

This song basically personified the genesis of a Rap superstar. The struggle, to the build up, to fulfilling your dreams. Lyrics on point, the hunger in his voice, and that chorus

I miss you Biggie :mjcry:

I disagree but I remember me and my homie were both failing at school (too much skipping n shyt) and we both were in the same math class in HS and we both aced this test we thought we were gonna fail. We looked at eachother like :gladbron: and both said at the same damn time "it was all a dream!"

shyt was crazy we both thought of the same damn song lyric at the same damn time. Classic moment, classic song but not top 5.
