Avengers compound
Aliens with domain expansions sounds like extreme fukkery
and japan the ONLY country with people similar to em :skip:

if we find out it was sukuna and some other wild aliens having kids with people :dead:

also 68 years isn't the longest amount of time there's gotta be some curses/sorcerers from Kaisen still walking around :jbhmm: Ui ui was young as hell
You know what forget Sukuna he said he was born worthless. He's just human who became something else at some point. KENJAKU we never found out what he or it is. Kenny is the actual alien :ohhh: :damn: :damn:

Oh, we've got Yuta & Maki basically here as the protagonists. The whole Toji/Maki archetype has easily been the most interesting thing about it, so that's cool. Outside of maybe Yuji everyone is dead, so this basically feels like a new series. Just using the JJK name to gather hype easily.

I hope it captures the energy of the characters before Shibuya. That fun synergy is what I loved, but I don't expect much with Gege especially since this is a short serialization.

There doesn't seem to be much fukkery potential outside the whole alien shyt. It feels like Gege might have come up with new ideas for a new series, but they were insistent on putting it in the JJK universe. That's my guess.

That was a pretty bleh first issue :ld: (link here)

Yuta and Maki's characterization felt way off. Also, it kinda makes no sense that their daughter is so detached from everything and just follows the instructions from the Gojo clan. That whole intro felt clunky as hell.

One of the few things I really liked was implying that these new generations of Jujutstu sorcerers continue to get weaker, it's an interesting thread that's picks up a lot of the implied stuff from the og series.

Best thing was the art, you can tell another artist took over :heh:

Rika gonna eventually show up and kill an entire alien species isn't she? :mjlol:

I think you are giving Gege too much credit, I legit think he has very little to do with this series besides putting his name in it to sell more copies and not let this new artist take over completely (and "risk" losing control of his creation).

I think he has a lot of control

You would be too if they put that money on the table

" Make another manga. $$$$$."

42 Monks: OK but can I do it like dandadan?

"Whatever."
I mean, Gege is the one that admitted he received a ton of pitches and this is the one he chose so he didn't even come up with the premise :heh:
