Yuji is probably an "in case of emergency, break glass" move but it seems they aren't interested in using the original cast at all, specially if they keep their promise of this being a short story.

Normally I wouldn't be against a slow start to building up the cast, but this only being 3 volumes makes it weird. This feels closer to a new series than a continuation of JJK, more so just set in the same universe.

That's what it is though, it was even promoted like that as well. The fact it didn't even have much of promo time to build up hype should've told us this was nothing more than a quick cash grab.

I'd guess we will get a "shocking" chapter before the end of Vol.1 where everything gets shaken up and raises the alien-human relationships to their limit, probably 1 of the 3 main characters is gonna get killed by the other side.

Thing is, with how short the story is supposed to be, I'm not sure we are even gonna get a full on alien vs humans confrontation. It's probably gonna be 2-3 marquee fights and then things will get solved before intergalactic war ensues

Don't let them nikkas fool you, Gege saw how hype anime onlys were after Shibuya and knew he let them down giving up on the story the way he did. This is his way of getting ahead of it, he gonna be "focused" on this during all the culling game moments manga fans didn't like.


The same way we know Fujimoto is a legit masochist with a fetish for mean girls

We know Gege will tuck his tail and hide when criticism-kun shows up once you see it you can't unsee it.



He wrote this as an extended epilogue and I wouldn't be surprised if they just add this onto the end of JJK anime before the fans riot at that janky ending. Guarantee the anime for this comes out quickly after Kaisen ends

Imo he's better doing short stories and getting straight to the point, any time he tries to explain something long form he does too much. I liked the way he quickly resolved Maru and Tsugiri's beef, got that shyt out the way in 1 chapter instead of dragging it

This is the Gege I fukks with introduced Osada's broken ass ability and got him outta there, prolly will pop back up later in a Gojo cosplay and save nikkas before getting split in half again
