Everything wrong with MGSV is summed up in this post.
Except MGS V has boss battles, so.......

I haven't played MGSV but the closest recent example I can think of is RAGE.You ever get the feeling that you've gotten to the part of the game where either:
1: The dev's stopped trying or had to rush it out to meet the deadline, play testing be damned.
Or
2: The funding from the publisher just comes to a sudden halt affecting the latter half of the game with obvious cuts to the storyline/gameplay
This is what MGSV felt like in the final hours, a fun wild ride that suddenly stops when you're having a good time.
I've never played a game this obviously unfinished since Xenogears.

Great game but the latter half of the game had it ending abruptly and with pretty much no explanation.
This was explained after release by iD Software and they basically said they were forced to drop
the game because they were taking to long and their publisher and whoever else funded the title
wanted to recoup.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was/is a similar situation with MGSV
Witcher casual.Im playing this game right after the witcher.....probably a bad mistake that makes MGS V look bad. Cause witcher open world is so far superior to this it aint even funny. Like MGS V is completely dead in between the outposts. Sorry but witcher done changed the open world game. MGS V feeling like a graveyard out there. The gameplay is fun but outside of that.......u gotta come correct with the open world concept in 2015. Otherwise just stick to the linear model![]()
