Just Because She Has Standards Doesn't Mean She's High Maintenance

So...at what point can I consider a chick to be high maintenance? We all got standards.

If she expects me to be able to provide for more than myself she's high maintenance. Given that in today's society women are expected to be independent and work for theirs.

Now, if she's a retro broad, and expects me to provide for her and the kids, I'd consider her high maintenance if she didn't submit to me as the man of the house. How you gon' want me to take care of you and then I gotta hear lip?? Nahhhhhh

One could assume High standards means ' I make 6 figures a year and you make 5 And I dont want to be in a relationship with someone below what I make.' That is completely understandable.


One could assume High maintanance means ' I make 5 figures a year and the man that treats me good makes 5 figures but i'd rather be treated like sh*t and provided for by the man with 6 figures"
