Did you get a standalone pressure cooker or one of those instant pot 7-1 jumpoffs?

Anything with dense, tough cuts of meat. I primarily use mine for Stews. It breaks down the meat in 1/8th of the time.

Just a pressure cooker, but it says it can be used as a slow cooker and rice cooker too.

Over the weekend I cubed up a chuck roast and put in there with a bay leaf, half onion (quartered), a few cloves of garlic and a cup of water (salt + pepper to taste). Shredded the beef for tacos, kept the broth for some other use. 25-30 mins high pressure

Main thing I cook with it is beans. Pintos about 2-3 cups takes about 23-25 mins, cover with about 1.5- 2 inches water

Hard boiled eggs- place on trivet with 1/2 cup water. 5mins high pressure, 4 min natural release and into cold water to stop cooking

Edit- Cobs of corn, broccoli just take like a min to steam. By the time it comes up to pressure its already done. I really haven't used it for much else, I have a ninja foodi. I have steamed tamales in there with success but kind of hit and miss depending on the size of them and how close you pack them

I get a few chicken breasts, with seasoning and put them in for 8 hours or so. Afterwards, you can shred it and it has a lot of uses - in salads, chicken salad, sandwiches, omelettes, quesadillas, tacos. You can freeze the remaining and pull it out whenever you want.
