I left this game in 05 at the water temple been meaning for years now to pick it back up.

Last year I was running through it, I got to the shadow temple and my TV died...

Having just completed the game, felt like I've experienced perfection and this was released in 1998

Some of us had no lives whatsoever. These "let's check out YouTube" ass younguns have NO idea about the struggle. Shiiiiit, I'm old enough to remember when there was a Nintendo hotline! Got stuck during LTTP in the temple where there was a three-headed lizard (or something) and BEGGED my pops to let me call that number. He told me to figure that shyt out or he'd throw the game away. Even in video games, my old man wasn't raising no pussies.

there have been bigger games with bigger open worlds but nothing since has measured up OOT's epic scale. exploring this vast world was just so amazing... and then RE-exploring it again once you're adult link... so god damn epic.

Playing it now on the 3DS to prep for Breath of the Wild. I haven't played this game since it was released on the 64.

I was 13 years old when I beat masters quest.

That preorder disk for windwaker that gave you all the main zelda games on one disk.


I've never seen a preorder bonus top that till this day.

Wish I still had it.

Edit: That disk with all the games came with my game cube, masters quest was a pretty order bonus for wind waker. I got all that at one time.
