They is NOT fukking around on MP, I remember being at the very least DECENT at Halo. Do I just need to get my skills back, learn the maps, etc...

cause this shyt is getting frustrated. I had a fukking 2 kill 11 assist game. And died 17 times. I needed something to play lol, but losing like that gets old pretty damn fast.

Any advice?

Beat the game on legendary with the sensitivity turned up. Until you can do that with relative ease without dying, you will not even begin to have a chance in MP.

Real talk play in the playlist that aren't ranked. For the most part you will run into players around your skill level there. Anyone who still plays seems to be either really good or really bad, there isn't a lot of in between right now

Just play with friends or other players in custom games that you know is around your level. You'll get better breh.

stay out of the halo ce 2v2 playlist.....i'm assuming you were playing another halo game with those assists (much harder to get em in ce)...and if you're gettin worked like that the ce playlist will have you committing that...

I'm the best halo player on this site...that campaign shyt is rubbish, you get better by playing against other players. Play the multi...play the ranked playlists so that you will be matching ppl in your skill level and learn that way. Watch what other players do, the good and bad...the routes they take...etc.

h1(ce) - use the pistol off every spawn. Press Y to switch from AR to it.

h2 - use the br

h2a - use the br

h3 - use the br

h4 - use the br/dmr


these are the primary utility weapons in each of these titles...do no run around with an AR/SMG unless you plan on gettin abused. Unless you are sniping or using rockets use one of these guns depending on the halo game you are playing.

If he cant even get kills on Legendary, homey isnt gonna be able to hang in MP. Which is what the situation is right now. He cant handle Legendary and gets worked in matchmaking.
Thats not to say that legendary makes you a better player online, it doesnt. Its too different. But being decent online requires you to atleast be able to handle legendary campaign AI. The two are almost mutually exclusive. Its like an aptitude test.

I mean...playing legendary in campaign takes some skill and smarts....but you can't apply cpu characters with a set style of attacking/defending to a human player that may switch tactics every 30 seconds. It's just not the same environment. The CPU will never think like I do or you...all legendary does is test your patience and mental game.....because you will be dying like 20 times in 30 secs before gettin to the next checvkpoint lol...

So far it looks like the only strategy that REALLY as far as gunplay is shooting for the fukking head. Body shots and leg shots might as well be shooting these cat's with paper clips.

I totatlly agree. I wasnt suggesting anything other than what you just said. i was referring to helping with his reflexes and situational awareness. Getting used to defending against one hit kills etc. Getting headshots almost exclusively and what not. It won't be like that at all in MP but he needs to have the bare minimum skills of getting headshots/instant kills and defending it on legendary to even stand a chance. Like him using legendary as the Training Grounds for mechanics only. Not the playing style. He can only get that from just trial and error in MP.
