Just finished my first game at Wrigley for the first time.

that's an old and cliche mantra bro.....Is that your pager in the background going off?

I am 2 stations north of Wrigs and we got goons getting in the stadium after the 3rd inning for like $5. They bring in that liquor too :demonic:

It's old and cliche because it's still a problem even going way back. You had it more with older folks then but it was and is still yuppie mecca in Chicago. I'm really not one to take that stance first try but over the years since I was a kid and had a visit my eyes opened up to it.

It's the biggest bar in Wrigleyville. The Cubs play in the space in the middle.

:yeshrug:Everybody singing that go cubs go song at the end tho.

Everyone in Atlanta does the chop. Does that make it that much more of an experience? :yeshrug:

What's going on over there in Wrigley is well near the same case with Yankee Stadium now. At least there's other stadiums in those cities to enjoy baseball in.

I heard the seats are extra small and the concourses are tiny and the entire place stinks like alley way urine...
Its a great stadium but all of this is true. The stadium was not built for the way Midwestern people are built these days :flabbynsick:

I dont think those things make a stadium great,im not nostalgic over these old baseball parks.

I like amenities and being able to sit comfortably in a chair, its an old stadium i would debate all day that these stadiums arent great.

Id rather go to PNC Park, Camden yards or that new joint in San Diego over Wrigley...

I mean isnt it true they got troughs in the mens room ? :hhh:

For me, the whole experience was cool. Public transportation was extremely convenient and you're riding there with other fans, not 95% bums like other areas.

The stadium isn't huge so even if you're in the top row of the upper deck, you have a good view and feel close to the game. The crowd knows the game and aren't texting all game or getting up and screaming when the cubs hit infield popups.

Before and after the game there are bars and restaurants all over.

Other than the troughs and small seats there really arent many negatives.

I sat in the bleachers section which was dope because u could move around. Dope views all over. Stadium felt like you were in a time capsule.

Went in May for a Yankee game and had pretty much the same sentiment I'll leave it at that.
