I'm gonna ask you, like I ask everyone....
Did you notice the hint in the ep before the finale?
In the scene directly after Walt sends his family away, he's sitting in the back yard spinning the gun. He spins it three times....the first two times it points to himself....kinda like God/fate/the universe saying, "this is all your fault"....the 3rd time it points to:
That's where he got the idea to poison the kid.

I won't beat you over the head with a ton of details, but there is all kinds of shyt like that in the series. Stuff that doesn't matter if you don't notice, but when you do it's 
Another example is season 2, all the episodes that had the weird black and white intros, you know with the teddy bear, etc....anyway, if you read those ep names in order they tell you exactly how the season ends:
1. "Seven Thirty-Seven"
2. "Grilled"
3. "Bit By A Dead Bee"
4. "Down"
5. "Breakage"
6. "Peakaboo"
7. "Negro y Azul"
8. "Better Call Saul"
