Had equipment issues that one ride, couldn't shift gears for 100 km.

Just finished watching this, real good.

Seems cyclist wanted to see if he could get away with doping and not getting caught and to document the process. He went looking for somebody to help him with this. Just happened to connect with Russian dude who was at the top of the Russian doping food chain. Then investigations started to happen, flew to America, started telling all the secrets. Because of him there was a ban on all Russian athletes that was later reversed. He had to go in witness protection, leaving his home, family, wife behind in Russia. They raided their home, confiscated passports etc.
