But I do like the iphone

You can get shoebox and all that on iPhone I believe. As far as music, gangstaraptalk and atrilli straight to iTunes.

$500 is really cheap. does your MBP have DVD rom on the side? how much HDD space and RAM u got? did you get the retina screen?

For $500 he ain't getting a retina. Personally I can't do anything under a retina, but a regular Mac is better than nothing lol.

my wife as the macbook air, and I have a pro. and her shyt looks janky as hell compared to the pro. especially the wack ass screen. on top of that, the pro is damn near as thin as the air anyways (not the new macbook obviously).

mbp has more ram, better processor, better screen, and larger hard drive.

Yeah the old Airs have shytty screens. The newer ones are on par with the regular mbp. The retina is the same thickness as the thickest part of the air. The reg pro is much thicker.
