Just got an Xbox One for $400 free shipping on ebay

the Kinect is part of the system here. all retail Xbox Ones come with it so developers assume you have it. half the time my Kinect is pointed at the wall but i do always have it plugged in for voice commands.

with the Xbox 360 Kinect was optional and more people didn't have it than had it. honestly i'd rather buy a PS4 if i didn't want the Kinect and get the full system. on the PS4 the camera is always optional. what does one do when a game comes out that you need Kinect on because like i said its part of the system and all the retail systems come with it?

only exclusive im getting is halo so wont be a prob

yes...basically sports games and halo...not many games are that fun to play for a long time

i've seen complete systems on craigslist for $450 and sometimes under that even. the Kinect is worth closer to $100 so if you didn't want it you could sell it on eBay and the final price would be close to $50 less than what you paid. you didn't really get a deal here.

i don't think you're screwed cause they let users unplug the Kinect but its still part of the system. functionality may be built into a game you want that breaks the game if Kinect isn't present because everyone is supposed to have it. the guy that has it unplugged can still plug it in if needed for a game where as you can't.
