just got back from vacation

today is my first day at work. i woke up so confused this morning

went to DR on july 12th. spent 4 days in Punta Cana in Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe. beautiful resort. would have went for a whole weeks worth if i knew how nice it was. the food was great.

i got more pics coming after i upload them from my digital cam, so my cellphone pics will have to do for now.

i probably drank like 20 mojitos. i kept tipping my dominican brehs and they made it strong as fukk for me.

then we went to Santiago for my wife's family reunion. They had a family softball game planned and then a huge party. Everything turned out to be pretty cool.

also visited the monumento and went to a bar to catch a live band

Then we finished it off with 5 days in my hometown where i was born in La Vega

like i said, ill add more pics later. didnt take too many with my phone.

it was nice to see where my wife was born and nice to take her to my hometown. convenient since our towns are only 35 minutes away from one another.

i also went to the most beautiful beach i have ever been to in a town called Punta Rucia in the north coast. all the pics for that are on the digicam since i didnt bring my cellphone on that trip. amazing beach with seafood restaurants(more like shacks) all over the place. it was 15 of us and we feasted on fresh fried fish, shrimp, tostones, rice and beans and more beer than i remember for a total of around $150. this is a google pic of it.

it was a great trip and i recommend a trip out there for anybody. even if u just stick with tourist spots, the country is beautiful. groupon is always running deals but make sure its for good resorts. if u go to puerto plata, make sure u plan a trip to punta rucia since its only 30-45 minutes away from there.

Been to punta cana a few years ago, stayed at the gran Bahia Principe probably the biggest resort I ever been to. Had a blast, people were nice and friendly even though we were warned you can get robbed etc, everyone was cool

when i was out there in 2012 i saw some dude get his chain snatched in puerto plata. its definitely real out there if u arent aware of your surroundings at all times. we went to a club in santiago and her cousin got lost on the way. while we asked for directions some dude was like "ill take ya" and tried to climb into the car. that was the only time i felt like i was about to be robbed but for the most part we were usually in places we knew so we were good.

bahia principe is on my list. ive heard from alot of ppl its great. majestic is the next one im going to tho.

i actually dont have any everytime i went to eat at the resort i didnt bring my phone or camera and outside of the resort i was usually on some hungry beast shyt so i would dig right in. i ate OD in this vacation

when i went in 2012 it was $40 but its $53 now at the airport. u can probably find it cheaper elsewhere but when i went to the supermarket they had it for like $60
