Races happen in the rain all the time, track time is expensive and you can't just push an event off for a week. Even regular people race in the rain, track days cost a ton

lol @ that second vid. cars were doing 360's into each other. at some point it's silly they didn't stop that race
I'm not saying it doesn't happen. but it's far from optimal conditions, and some races are stopped/delayed if it gets real bad
I just wish every race in Project Cars didn't look like this

Don't mind @MeachTheMonster he's never been to a track in his life and isn't familiar with GT racing, LeMans or F1 races that happen in downpours
Obviously some races happen in the rain, but its not something people are looking forward to on purpose. You don't have races scheduled in the rain on purpose as you do in these games.

there are no tracks in fh2. FH2's weather is inferior to Driveclub. FH2 has barren open roads with nothing in them. The driving is fake as fukk(What cars driving through fences and grass like that?) Last time I checked there were FIFTY FIVE tracks in DC. Hell, throw in dynamic weather and some tracks are completely new beasts at different times

Driveclub might be the best looking game ive ever played. Im legit in awe at times. I took photos that look damn near photo realistic. No other racing game is seeing it visually.
I cant speak on the gameplay since I dont play racing games at all. Even driveclub i think the ps plus edition will be enough for me. Been considering copping the full but realistically ill prob never play.

It's a combination of the lighting, the realistic looking environments and the weather. shyt is inimitable. The game shines during dawn, sunset and night time.
It's simple, straight to the point and it loads very fukking fast and to mention it has actual tracks that are based on real life areas instead of the samey circuit tracks that's in every racing game. I really don't care for sim racers.I dont get what ya see in drive club... its garbage
I don't have time to be checking my car's mass intake airflow sensor and wheel bearings like they do in those sims. I just want to pick a car, get on a track and race. Project cars is trash and FH/GT are boring as hell imo. NFS Rivals is the same old get chased by cops, escape and use powerups on some Mario Kart shyt. Meh.. I literally played GT for a while and it just wasn't for me.
FH2 is decent since it's not entirely sim but it still has that "LET'S DRIVE AND MEET UP WITH THIS RACER TO GET STARTEED!!!!" bullshyt these games always havee. Driveclub is oldschool and straight to the chase. it's not perfect but it's damn good.
Other racing games can go to hell.
