He played for the Blazers for 12 years. The team peaked and had no room to grow with him still there. There was nothing wrong with him leaving. The problem is he waited too long and now his body is breaking down.

Which is why players are going to stop doing this, Portland never would’ve did him like this. You see book reupped. Grass ain’t always greener.

This new CBA got the league acting different. That player empowered movement start by Bron is gone. The trade deadline and free agency market was the marquee event for the NBA. It was bigger than the NBA finals. Now that’s over with the 2nd apron stuff. When I seen ESPN say LeBron trade market was dead because nobody wants to give up assets for a 40 year old. What the suns got for KD. I think the big deals for mid tier players is that over too. Evan Turner or Allen Crabbe type deals are over. Ty Jerome coming off a 3rd place in the 6th man of the year award would’ve got way more a few years ago.
Players association fukked over the 99% when they agreed to the second apron :wow:

Had to be a mutual decision. Most players today though have come back from achilles injuries. At least shop Dame to see what you can get in a trade. They were desperate to sign free agents and panicked to waive Dame to sign Myles Turner. They were desperate to keep Giannis they had to make moves in FA. I don't think Myles Turner is the game changer Giannis and the FO thinks he is.
