Bucks never heard of a buyout or attaching picks to get rid of a player? Waving and stretching is literally the worst road PR wise and Basketball wise. There’s a reason why it’s very rare. They tied up $22 million of their cap space for the next 5 years😂🤣

If Ben Simmons can get moved @ $40+ million so can Dame, ebn hurt.
They don’t have any picks to trade

Dame is owed 112 million over two years. How does a buyout work?

I also don’t think they have many picks as well.

Personally, I woulda kept him on the books.

This new CBA got the league acting different. That player empowered movement start by Bron is gone. The trade deadline and free agency market was the marquee event for the NBA. It was bigger than the NBA finals. Now that’s over with the 2nd apron stuff. When I seen ESPN say LeBron trade market was dead because nobody wants to give up assets for a 40 year old. What the suns got for KD. I think the big deals for mid tier players is that over too. Evan Turner or Allen Crabbe type deals are over. Ty Jerome coming off a 3rd place in the 6th man of the year award would’ve got way more a few years ago.

Even look at what players are signing for

Giannis and his team must have laughed off the “gap year” as it’s the only reason this decision makes sense.

With that being said, Dame could still get his Miami wish or whatever team he wants with Milwaukee footing the bill for him.
Dame could re-sign with Milwaukee next summer.

EDIT: Nevermind. He can’t. Money has to clear first after being waived and stretched!
