Just learning about "Metadata" :ohhh:

I'm trying to increase my general knowledge of IT and decided to get a book on Metadata 101. this is interesting as hell. I just learned of "Hadoop" the other day, and I'm blending in "what if's",

What a time to be alive.

To my Brehette's and my Breh's, what's some good reading material for both "Metadata" as well as "Hadoop"?

Hadoop's for huge data in the terabyte range.

Learn some flavor of SQL first to get the basics of relational databases, then you can move onto NoSQL stuff like Hadoop from there.

Even getting your feet wet with Microsoft Access would be a good start.

Access is , but there's a good chance you'll already have it on your computer, and if it's there, there's no harm in finding the first youtube tutorial you see and following along from there.
