Form follows function is one of my ring tones 
First night i played it strange fruition was on repeat for hours.
Wasn't really digging the project that much as a whole, but the stand outs are vintage lupe.

Strange Fruition, Unforgivable Youth, Form Follows Function, Put Em' Up, Hood Now, Lamborghini Angels, Brave Heart, Around my Way and Audobon Ballroom are some of my favorites from his discography period.
I could've done without Heart Donor in retrospective. I think shaving off that, How Dare You(good enough for a bonus nod definitely), and bytch Bad(love the message, but the song is average) would've made the tracklist damn near perfect. Oh, and put Go To Sleep on there too.
I still love the album, but in retrospect I feel it's definitely in 3rd place behind the first F&L and his best album - The Cool

I feel that when you're as good as Lupe the standards and critiques ultimately end up being unfair. When you drop a massive disappointment like Lasers, people are overly sensitive to anything you put out afterwards. Friend of the People was a great mixtape - better than Enemy of The State by far to me despite its experimental beat selection, and F&L II was a huge step up from Lasers, but people still talk as if he hasn't put out good material since The Cool which is a myth.
Lasers really fukked up people's perception, and considering his incredible talent and discography, it's a little sad. The dude has literally had ONE BAD project in his career.

Not the biggest Luoe fan, but listened this album several times on a road trip from the Bay to Reno and this album I dope as f##k beats lyrics the whole sh1t. Hood Now, Bad B1tch, etc.
Listened to this once or twice and just couldn't get into it. The production wasnt my cup of tea as I recall. His first two were great and I didn't hate Lasers as much as everyone else did. I was really hyped for the album when I heard Freedom ain't free too.
