Just realized how badass Liev Schreiber is

I just started watching Ray Donovan and holy shyt. The man is a great actor. He could easily pull off being James Bond. What other good Liev films should I check for? I only knew him as Cotton from Scream movies so I severely underestimated him.

eh I don’t think he’s that great an actor at all...he comes across as stoic/robotic in all his roles...it was perfect for the ‘manchurian candidate’ given the role...problem is he comes across like that in every single movie/show lol

that being said ‘ray donovan’ is a really good show...I was more impressed with jon voight’s acting than anyone else...and was surprised to see he got a few nominations for his role even tho I don’t think he won anything

looks like schrieber received a few nominations for his role as well...so I might be alone in my opinion of his acting

I feel like in Ray he really shows his range! At first I thought the same, but once the show gets rolling he starts showing more and more emotions.

it’s been a couple years since I watched the series...the last season I watched was the one when he moved to NYC and became cool with the crooked cop...I might marathon the first season again and watch it from a new perspective...maybe I overlooked his acting :ehh:

Looking at his filmography on IMDb he has not done a lot of noteworthy stuff. But I do remember Pawn Sacrifice where Tobey McGuire played chess master Bobby Fisher and he played his Russian opponent. That was a good movie.
Yo, Sabertooth and Ray Donovan may be his only noteworthy roles. lol
